BALA (1) · SUSEEL (2) · RAM VIRATH (3) · AADHITHYA (4) · DHEERAJ (5) · SANJITH (6) · JEGAN (8) · GOPIHAN (10) · ALAGU VENKATESH (7) · MONISH (11) · FAROOQ (9)Real Kashmir plays with a heavy focus on high pressing and direct attacking play in a 4-3-3. This formation aims to win the ball high up the pitch and push quickly toward the opposition goal. The goal is to use speed and verticality to catch opponents out of position before they can set their defensive line.
BALA starts in goal to manage the backline. The defense operates with a flat back four consisting of SUSEEL at right back and RAM VIRATH at left back. They work to provide width while AADHITHYA and DHEERAJ act as the central defensive pair. AADHITHYA and DHEERAJ must hold the line and win headers to stop direct threats. The full backs are expected to push up to support the midfield and overlap the wingers during the attacking phase.
The midfield is built around a three man midfield with a carrier and an advanced attacking ten. GOPIHAN operates in the hole as an attacking midfielder to find pockets of space between the lines. JEGAN and SANJITH occupy the central roles to control the tempo and connect the defense to the attack. JEGAN and SANJITH must press aggressively to win the ball back in a mid-block and ensure they cover the space when the full backs push forward. They are responsible for recycling possession and finding the front three.
Real Kashmir utilizes three attackers to stretch the opposition. MONISH plays as a left winger who looks to cut inside and create chances, while ALAGU VENKATESH stays wide on the right to provide width. FAROOQ leads the line as a lone striker tasked with finding the feet of his teammates and making runs in behind the defense. The front three press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. This movement creates space for the midfielders to arrive late into the box.
This lineup offers several tactical advantages. Real Kashmir can create wide overloads when SUSEEL and RAM VIRATH join the attackers. The presence of GOPIHAN in the half spaces allows the team to play through the lines with more control. Additionally, the team can transition into a compact shape quickly when they lose possession.
This 4-3-3 formation relies on intense pressing and rapid transitions to overwhelm opponents. It is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
