Starting Lineup

Alcn · Evka · alphiex · Xeqrai · Modoroki · Balance · Takao · Dqll · Suygetsu · Rpeoed · 37

Juventus focuses on defensive solidity and quick transitions through a 4-5-1. This formation is built to absorb pressure and hit opponents when they lose control in the middle third. The team looks to sit deep when out of possession and then burst forward using the width of the pitch.

In goal, 37 commands the area to organize the back line. The defensive unit operates as a flat back four with Modoroki and Suygetsu acting as the central defenders. Modoroki and Suygetsu must hold the line and win the second ball when the opposition crosses. Dqll plays as the left back to provide cover while Rpeoed acts as the right back to stop wide runners. The unit works to squeeze the space between the lines and maintain a compact formation.

The midfield acts as the engine for Juventus. Takao sits as a single pivot to shield the defense and intercept passes. Beside him, Xeqrai and Evka occupy the central spaces to connect the defense to the attack. Xeqrai and Evka work to recycle possession and find the feet of Alcn. On the flanks, alphiex and Balance operate as wide midfielders. alphiex must track back to help Dqll while Balance provides width and works to support the right side. This five man group allows the team to compress the midfield and deny the turn of opposition playmakers.

Up front, Alcn works as a lone striker to lead the line. Alcn must hold up the ball to allow the midfield to move up the pitch. The attack relies on Alcn to make runs in behind or to link up play with the arriving runners. alphiex and Balance provide the necessary width by pushing high to stretch the defense. When the team wins the ball, they look to play through the lines or whip it in to Alcn quickly. The movement is designed to create one on one situations for the wide players or to isolate the central defenders.

A major advantage of this lineup is the compactness when defending in a mid block. By having five players across the middle, the team can easily win the second ball and control the central areas. Another strength is the ability to hit in behind on the transition once Takao or the central midfielders win possession. The wide players, alphiex and Balance, can quickly carry the ball forward to catch the opposition off guard.

This 4-5-1 formation creates a hard unit to break down through the middle. It is best suited for matches against teams that hold high possession and require a disciplined low block to frustrate them.
