Patrik Schick acts as a lone striker and serves as a pressing centre forward to disrupt the opposition build up. He often has to hold up the ball to allow the midfield to move up the pitch. The attack relies on ŠULC finding the feet of the striker or playing through the lines to create chances. When Czechia wins the ball, the wingers and midfielders look to hit in behind on the transition to exploit space.
