Al-Nassr (KSA) focuses on high intensity vertical play through a 2-4-4 formation. This lineup is built to overwhelm the opposition with numbers in the final third and win the ball back quickly through aggressive pressing. The goal is to use heavy offensive pressure to force mistakes and strike immediately.

Al-Aqidi stands between the posts to manage the defensive line. The back line uses a narrow two man central pairing consisting of Al- Fatil and Laporte. Laporte acts as a ball playing defender to start attacks while Al- Fatil provides cover and aerial strength. Because the formation uses only two central defenders, they must step up to squeeze the space and defend against long balls.

The midfield works as a flat four to control the center of the pitch. Al- Ghannam sits in the deep position to shield the defense and protect the two centre backs. Konan and Al- khaibari operate as the central runners who carry the ball forward and link the defensive unit to the attack. Brozovic plays in the advanced role to act as an attacking ten, looking to play through the lines and create chances.

Al-Nassr utilizes four attackers to stretch the opposition. Otavio and C. operate as two forwards in a partnership in the center to hold up the ball and find spaces between the lines. On the flanks, Ghareeb and S. act as wide wingers who cut inside to create overloads in the middle. This attacking unit is designed to attack in combinations and use quick passing to find the strikers in behind the defensive line.
