They are responsible for winning the second ball and then looking to play through the lines to reach the forwards. On the flanks, M.Pitoňák and L.Březina provide much needed width, helping to compress the midfield when defending and looking to deliver crosses when moving forward.

The attacking unit relies on a partnership of two strikers. A.Švábenský and J.Kastl work in tandem to pressure the opposition back line. They often look to run in behind the defenders or hold up the ball to allow the midfielders to join the attack. The goal is to create combinations in tight spaces, using the wide players to pull the opposition defenders apart before making runs into the box.

Inter offers several tactical advantages with this lineup. The ability to press in pairs in the midfield allows the team to squeeze the space and force a long ball from the opponent. Furthermore, the team can create wide overloads when M.Pitoňák and L.Březina push forward to support their full backs.
