Thuram works alongside them to carry the ball forward and drive the play into the final third. The wide midfielders, Cambiaso at right and Nico or Weah at left, provide the necessary width. These players must track back to support the defense while also being ready to push up and overlap the attackers.

Juventus uses three attackers to pin the last defender and attack the channels. Yildiz plays as an inverted winger on the left, often cutting inside to find space for a shot. Koopmeiners operates on the right wing, using his passing range to find teammates. Vlahovic or Kolo Muani acts as the central striker to hold up the ball and lead the press. The attack looks to create runs in behind or use link up play between the lines to break the opposition.

One major advantage for Juventus is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, making it hard for opponents to build play. The presence of Cambiaso and Nico or Weah allows for wide overloads when they push forward. Another strength is the speed of transition, as Thuram and the front three can move the ball forward rapidly once the ball is won.
