FC Bayern aims to dominate through high pressing and rapid attacking transitions using a 4-3-3. This formation is built to squeeze the pitch and win the ball back high up the pitch to catch opponents out of position. The team relies on intense pressure and verticality to break through defensive lines.

TRUBIN acts as the last line of defense in goal. The back line functions as a flat back four that can step up to set the offside trap. BALDE plays as an attacking full back on the left to provide width, while GUSTO operates on the right to overlap the winger. In the center, A.SILVA and CUBASI form a central pairing, with A.SILVA acting as a ball playing defender to help play out from the back and CUBASI providing coverage.

The midfield is a three-man midfield with a single pivot. CAMAVINGA sits in front of the defense to shield the back four and intercept passes. To his left, ZAIRE-EMERY acts as a carrier to drive forward with the ball, while BELLINGHAM plays as an inverted eight who makes late runs into the box. This trio links the defense to the attack by recycling possession and playing through the lines to find the forwards.

In the attacking phase, FC Bayern uses three attackers across the front. MATHYS TEL plays as a pressing centre-forward to lead the line and pin the last defender. On the flanks, WIRTS plays as an inverted winger on the left to cut inside, while YAMAL operates as a wide winger on the right to stretch the defence and take on defenders one on one. The team looks to attack in combinations, using the movement of the wingers to create space for MATHYS TEL.

One major tactical advantage is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, with the front three and midfield pressing in pairs to force a long ball from the opposition. The team also creates wide overloads when BALDE and GUSTO push forward to support the wingers. This allows the squad to pin the opposition back and maintain control in the final third.

This 4-3-3 formation focuses on aggressive ball recovery and quick vertical play. It is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
