Starting Lineup

In the middle of the pitch, France utilizes a two man midfield pairing to control the center. Micheal and ASA work together to connect the defense and the attack. ASA and Micheal must be ready to press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch. They act as the engine, with one player often dropping to help the back three while the other carries the ball forward. The wide players, AMA and Favour, occupy the wide areas to provide width and support the midfield battle.

The attacking front line consists of three players tasked with constant movement. Feranmi leads the line as a pressing centre-forward, looking to find the feet of his teammates or make runs in behind. ATOM operates on the left as an inverted winger who likes to cut inside to create space, while Mayowa stays on the right to provide width. This front three works to pin the last defender and create room for late runs from the midfield. They combine in tight spaces to break the line and deliver crosses or through balls.

This formation offers several tactical advantages, particularly the ability to press high in coordinated waves. By having five players high up the pitch, France can force a long ball from the opposition. Another strength is the width provided by AMA and Favour, which allows the team to switch play quickly and isolate wide players in one on one situations.
