The midfield is built around a central pairing of Dupain-Cheng and Midoriya. Dupain-Cheng drives forward with the ball to carry it into the final third. Midoriya sits deeper to shield the defense and intercept passes. Bourgeois plays on the right and Uraraka plays on the left to provide width. On the flanks, Bourgeois looks to get to the byline to cross the ball while Uraraka cuts inside to find pockets of space. This group connects the defense to the attack by recycling possession.

The front line features a partnership of Agreste and Bakugo. Agreste plays as a striker who holds up the ball to link play. Bakugo plays as a second striker to make runs in behind the defense. They press from the front to force a long ball from the opponent. Using wide players to create overlaps, the team attacks in combinations. Both forwards look to hit in behind on the transition to catch the defense out.

The tactical advantages of this lineup include the ability to press high in coordinated waves. Having two players up front allows PSG to pin the last defender and win the second ball. There is also the potential for wide overloads when Lahiffe and Bourgeois work together to stretch the defense. This makes the team very hard to defend against during quick transitions.
