Türkiye aims to play a high tempo game built on directness and heavy pressure, utilizing a 4-2-4 formation. Mert operates between the posts to organize the back line as they push up to maintain a high line. The defensive unit consists of a flat back four where Zeki acts as the right back to provide width and Ferdi plays as the left back to join the attack. In the middle, Merih and Abdülkerim serve as the central defenders, with Merih using his aerial strength to defend set pieces and Abdülkerim acting as a covering defender to sweep behind the line. This defensive group must remain compact to avoid being bypassed by long balls.

The midfield functions as a double pivot to provide some stability in the center of the pitch. Hakan and Orkun occupy the central roles, with Hakan using his passing range to control the tempo and Orkun working to win the second ball in the middle third. These two players are tasked with connecting the defense to the attack, often dropping deep to receive the ball from the center backs and then driving forward to support the front four. The attacking unit is spread across the pitch to stretch the opposition defence. Oğuz stays wide on the right as an inverted winger to cut inside and Kenan and Arda operate as two central forwards, with Kenan acting as a target man to hold up the ball and Arda looking to make runs in behind. On the left, Yunus plays as a winger to provide width and deliver crosses into the box. This front four works to press from the front, forcing the opposition to play long and allowing the Türkiye players to regain possession in advanced areas.

One major advantage of this formation is the ability to create wide overloads when Zeki and Ferdi push up to overlap the wingers. The team can also achieve numerical superiority in the attacking third, which makes it difficult for opponents to defend the central areas.
