This group works to compress the midfield and win the second ball to maintain control.

In the attacking phase, Poland utilizes three attackers across the front. Domarski acts as a pressing centre-forward to pin the last defender and hold up the ball for his teammates. Lato plays as an inverted winger on the right to cut inside and create central presence, while Gadocha stays wide on the left to whip it in from the flank. The wingers aim to isolate a one-on-one wide to create openings. This front line creates runs in behind through quick combinations.
