Türkiye looks to win the ball back high up the pitch and strike through quick transitions using a 5-3-2. This formation is built to play with a heavy defensive presence while using wide areas to stretch the opposition. By packing the central zones, the lineup aims to control the middle of the park and wait for moments to launch attacks.

Esqui/Lywix sits between the lines as the goalkeeper to sweep behind the high line. The defensive unit operates with a back three consisting of Ryuken, Kameii, and Kalirita. Ryuken and Kalirita act as wide centre-backs to cover the spaces left by the wing backs, while Kameii stays central to win the header and clear the lines. Lores/Wuross operates as an attacking wing back on the right to provide width, while Afton plays as a defensive wing back on the left to keep the unit compact.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier to link the phases. Clev/Lynex/Suzu/Shindai acts as a single pivot to shield the defence and recycle possession. In front of them, Alperenzy and Scaxy play as inverted eights to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Alperenzy and Scaxy look to press in a mid-block to win the second ball and then drive forward with the ball to progress through the thirds.

Türkiye uses two forwards in a partnership to lead the line. Kaiso plays as a pressing centre-forward to force a long ball from the opposition, while Rai/Clev acts as a second striker in the hole to find the feet of the striker or play a one-two. The team relies on the wing backs to provide the width, as Lores/Wuross and Afton push up to deliver early crosses. This movement is designed to create runs in behind and allow the two attackers to combine in tight spaces.

A major advantage for Türkiye is the ability to press high in coordinated waves when the ball is in the final third. The formation offers great compactness when defending because the three midfielders and five defenders can easily shift to form a narrow defensive block. This makes it difficult for opponents to play through the lines, forcing them to go direct and lose possession.

This 5-3-2 formation is a solid way to absorb pressure and exploit spaces on the counter. It is best suited for matches against teams that dominate possession and leave space behind their full backs.
