They must track back to help the two central defenders when the team loses the ball.

The attacking unit is heavy with four players positioned across the front. Marquinhos and Pacho operate as wide wingers, with Marquinhos looking to cut inside to create chaos. In the center, Guimarães and Donnaruma work as a striking partnership. Guimarães acts as a pressing centre-forward to harass the opposition back line, while Donnaruma looks to find the feet of his partner or knock it in behind. This formation is designed to create constant pressure through combinations in tight spaces and rapid attacks.

This formation offers massive numerical superiority in the attacking third.
