Starting Lineup

Juventus relies on a heavy defensive presence and a quick transition to catch teams off guard, using a 5-4-1 formation. The midfield functions as a flat four to maintain a narrow block. Sega sits in the single pivot role to shield the defense and intercept passes. Next to him, Rc3, Bopibo, and Kailo occupy the central and wide areas to congest the middle. Bopibo and Kailo work to win the second ball and recycle possession once the ball is recovered. The midfield group works to compress the space, making it difficult for the opposition to play through the lines.

In the attacking phase, Juventus utilizes a lone striker in Prxz to lead the line. Prxz is tasked with holding up the ball and waiting for support to arrive. The wing backs, Tys and Mitsuya, push high to provide width and deliver crosses into the box. This creates a setup where the attack relies on quick combinations to catch the defense out of position. Prxz must work to pin the last defender to create room for the midfielders to arrive late into the box.

One major strength of this Juventus lineup is the compactness when defending, which makes it very hard to break down in a low block. The formation also offers great speed of transition, as the team can move from a deep defensive state to an attacking one in seconds. By using Tys and Mitsuya to stretch the pitch, the team can create wide overloads that catch the opposition when they are pushed too far forward.
