These wing backs push high to support the attack but must track back to maintain the five man defensive block.

A double pivot in the middle helps the team manage the center of the pitch. Sega sits in front of the defense to shield the back line and win the second ball. Kailo plays as an advanced midfielder, looking to link the defense to the front three and carry the ball forward into dangerous areas. This two man midfield requires high work rates to cover the large spaces left by the wing backs when they move up the pitch.

The attack relies on three players across the front to pressure the opposition back line. Espada acts as the lone striker to lead the press and hold up the ball for others. Bopibo plays on the left wing and Rc3 occupies the right wing, both looking to cut inside to create goalscoring chances. These attackers work in combinations to create runs in behind or allow the wing backs to overlap and deliver crosses into the box.

This formation offers several tactical advantages for Juventus. The back five provides great compactness when defending a lead. The team can also create wide overloads because Tys and Mitsuya push high to join the wingers. This allows the side to pin the last defender and create more passing lanes through the middle with Kailo arriving late into the box.
