Juventus prioritizes a direct and vertical style of play with a 2-5-3 formation. This lineup aims to win the ball high up the pitch and move it quickly toward the goal to catch opponents before they can settle. Donnarumma sits between the posts as the last line of defense. The defensive unit consists of a narrow two man line with Bremer and Tah acting as the central defenders. Tavares works to cover the left side while Frimpong uses his speed to carry the ball forward. Thuram and De Jong operate as inverted eights who connect the defensive and attacking lines. De Jong is known for his ability to receive on the half turn and progress through the thirds. Wirtz plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find the feet of the forwards or play through the lines with his passing range.

The attack relies on three players to stretch the defense. Rodrigo operates as an inverted winger on the left who likes to cut inside to find goal scoring opportunities. Sane stays wide on the right to provide width and can cross on the run. Osimhen serves as the pressing centre-forward and target man, using his movement to pin the last defender. The Juventus front line moves in combinations to create runs in behind and isolations for the wide players.

A primary advantage for Juventus is the numerical superiority in midfield which allows them to dominate the middle of the pitch. The formation also creates wide overloads when the wingers and midfielders push high.
