Starting Lineup

While Ufenss works to carry the ball forward when there is space, Esqui focuses on protecting the central zone. Lucifer and Kuke operate on the wings to provide width and press the opposition wingers. This four-man line connects the defense to the attack by recycling possession and looking to break the line with quick passes.

Totsuka acts as a lone striker to lead the line. The attack relies on Totsuka to hold up the ball and find the feet of the runners. When Palmeiras wins the ball, the team looks to break quickly with the wing backs and wide midfielders. Shiro and Noke push up to provide width, while Kuke and Lucifer look to cut inside to create numbers in the box. Such movement creates chances to hit in behind the opposition back line and use the space left by attacking teams.
