Juno stays between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line functions as a back five where Slime, Zoro, and Hyper form a narrow central trio. Slime acts as the central defender to sweep behind the line, while Zoro and Hyper provide cover and engage attackers. The wide defenders, Revy as the right wing back and Wilsmore as the left wing back, are tasked to defend the flanks and push up to provide width when the team wins the ball.

A flat midfield four sits ahead of the back five to maintain a compact shape. Atlas and Dad operate as the central pair to shield the defense and win the second ball. Atlas looks to recycle possession while Dad works to intercept passes and break the line. Balladeer and Uru play as wide midfielders who must track back to help the wing backs and press in a mid-block to prevent the opposition from playing through the thirds.

The attacking plan revolves around a lone striker, Envix, who must hold up the ball to allow the midfield to move up the pitch. Envix acts as a target man to receive long balls and lay it off to oncoming runners. When Man City transitions, Balladeer and Uru push forward to support the attack, creating combinations in the wide areas. The goal is to use the pace of the wingers to stretch the defense and find Envix in central areas.

One major advantage of this formation is the ability to maintain compactness when defending in a low block. The narrow positioning of Slime, Zoro, and Hyper makes it difficult for opponents to play through the middle. Another strength is the capacity for wide overloads when Revy and Wilsmore step up to support Balladeer and Uru during an attack. This creates many passing lanes to move the ball quickly from defense to the front line.
