Mbappé occupies the right channel to hunt for runs in behind. They press from the front to harass the opposition back line and force long balls. The two forwards combine in tight spaces to create chances, often using quick one-two passing to find gaps in the defence.

This Real Madrid lineup offers immense speed of transition and heavy pressure in the central areas. The presence of Valverde and J. Bellingham allows the team to push up and win the ball high up the pitch. Having such fast attackers also allows the team to isolate wide players in one on one situations when they break quickly.
