HAVERTZ leads the line as a lone striker. He acts as a pressing centre-forward to trigger a press against the opposition back line. His role is to hold up the ball and lay it off to teammates who arrive late into the box. The attack relies on HAVERTZ to link up play between the lines and create space for SAKA and MARTINELLI to exploit the channels.
