Myles Lewis skelly connects the defensive and attacking lines by carrying the ball forward and finding space between the lines. Harvertz plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, making late runs into the box and dropping deep to help with the build up. This midfield group works to recycle possession and switch play quickly.

The attacking unit features three players across the front to stretch the defense. Saka plays as an inverted winger on the right to cut inside and create chances, while Leão occupies the left wing to drive at defenders with his dribbling style. Sesko acts as a lone striker and pressing centre forward to lead the line. The team attacks in combinations through the half spaces, using the movement of Saka and Leão to pull wide and create space for Sesko to attack the near post or find room in the box.

Arsenal gains a major advantage through numerical superiority in the middle of the pitch when the players press in pairs. The ability to press high in coordinated waves allows the team to win it back high up the pitch. Another strength is the speed of transition when Saka or Leão receive the ball in space, allowing the team to hit in behind on the transition before the opponent can set their defensive block.
