AFC Fylde Football Formation
Starting Lineup
Moses (Uhinga) · Ramadhani (Mnuvi) · A (Kontawa) · Bb (Aymah) · A (Amoni) · S (Ngatyanga) · R (Yuzzo) · Sanan (Cairo) · Kilindo (Sadibilo) · Adams (Kauthar) · B (Bastie)AFC Fylde looks to control games through a high press and rapid transitions using a 4-3-3. This formation is built to win the ball high up the pitch and quickly move it into the final third. The team aims to push the opposition back and keep them pinned in their own half.
Moses stays between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back four functions as a flat line where A operates as the right back and Ramadhani plays as the left back. Bb and A act as the central defenders, with Bb providing aerial strength and A covering the space behind if the line steps up. The defensive unit works to squeeze the space and keep the distance between the lines small.
The midfield is a three-man midfield with a carrier. Sanan works on the left side of the trio, while R occupies the right side of the middle. S sits in the center to shield the defence and help play out from the back. This group is responsible to win the second ball and connect the defensive line to the front three. Sanan and R are tasked to carry the ball forward to break the line of the opposition.
An attacking front three provides plenty of width and central threat. Kilindo plays on the left wing and Adams occupies the right wing, both looking to cut inside to create chances. B acts as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and find the feet of the oncoming midfielders. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball and win possession high up the pitch.
This lineup offers the ability to press high in coordinated waves to disrupt the opponent. AFC Fylde can also create wide overloads when the full backs join the attack to support Adams and Kilindo. The speed of transition allows them to catch teams out of position as soon as Moses or the defenders win the ball.
This 4-3-3 is a proactive formation built for heavy pressing and verticality. It is best suited for games against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
