In the middle of the park, Türkiye utilizes a two man midfield. H.Çalhanoğlu (C) acts as the deep lying playmaker with an exceptional passing range to control the tempo and switch play. Beside him, O.Kökçü works to drive forward with the ball and press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch. This pairing connects the defense to the attack by recycling possession and finding the feet of the forwards.

The attacking unit uses three players across the front to create constant movement. B.Yılmaz acts as the lone striker to hold up the ball and pin the last defender. K.Yıldız and Arda Güler operate as wide wingers who cut inside to find space in the half spaces. F.Kadıoğlu and M.Müldür provide width from the midfield, often pushing up to overlap the wingers and deliver crosses. This creates many combinations in transition to hit teams in behind.

One major advantage for Türkiye is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to build from the back. The formation also provides numerical superiority in the attacking third when the wide midfielders join the front three.
