Junior focuses on high pressing and verticality through a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and attack with speed. By maintaining a high defensive line, Junior aims to squeeze the space and force turnovers in the opposition half.

Sebastián operates between the posts to organize the back four. The defensive unit functions as a flat back four where Gabriel and Alexis act as the central defenders. Gabriel and Alexis must hold the line and cover for each other when the team pushes high. On the flanks, Arturo and Jesús act as full backs to provide width and track back when possession is lost. This defensive unit works to keep the team compact and win the second ball.

The midfield is a three-man midfield with a carrier and a sitting player. Dulio acts as the single pivot to shield the defence and recycle possession. Alongside him, Carlos and Juan Ramón operate in the half-spaces to connect the lines. Carlos and Juan Ramón drive forward with the ball to support the attack while Dulio drops between the centre-backs to receive the ball and build play from the back. They work to press in a mid-block to prevent the opposition from playing through the lines.

In the final third, the team uses three attackers across the front. Iván René acts as a pressing centre-forward to pin the last defender and lead the charge. Teófilo and Víctor operate as wide wingers who stretch the defence by staying wide. Teófilo and Víctor often cut inside to create central presence and leave space for Arturo and Jesús to overlap. The attack relies on quick combinations to hit in behind on the transition and find the feet of the striker.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its ability to press high in coordinated waves. The team can create wide overloads when the full backs push up to support the wingers.
