Hakimi acts as a carrier in the right channel, using his pace to move the ball from the middle into the final third. This group works to squeeze the space and win the second ball in the middle.

The attacking unit consists of three players who push high to pin the last defender. O. Dembélé operates as a striker, looking to hold up the ball and link up play with the wide players. On the flanks, K. Kvaratskhelia and B. Barcola act as wide attackers who want to cut inside and create chances. The front three press the opposition back line to force a long ball, allowing the midfield to step up and win it back. These attackers move in combinations to pull defenders out of position and create space in the channels.
