Shanto operates between the posts to organize the defensive unit. Behind him, the back line consists of a three man central group with Srabonto acting as the central figure to sweep behind the line. The wing backs, Shourov and Dipta, are tasked with providing width and tracking back to form a five man line when defending. Shourov acts as a defensive wing back on the right while Dipta covers the left, ensuring the team can shift quickly to cover the flanks.

The midfield functions as a three man unit that connects the back five to the two forwards. Akib and Akash operate as a double pivot to shield the defence and win the second ball in the middle of the pitch. Akib helps to recycle possession while Akash works to drive forward with the ball to link the play. Avijit plays as an attacking ten behind the strikers, looking to find pockets of space and play through the lines. This midfield trio works to compress the midfield and prevent the opposition from playing through the center.

In the final third, Atlético employs two forwards in a partnership. Ananay plays as the left striker to lead the press from the front, while Anik operates as the right striker to hunt for space in behind. The attack is built through quick transitions where Shourov and Dipta look to push up and provide width, creating chances for Anik and Ananay to attack the space. The team looks to use combinations in tight spaces and quick vertical passes to catch the opponent out of position.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages such as a very compact defensive block that is difficult to break down through the center.
