KOGL and FLICK operate as the two central midfielders, tasked with connecting the defensive and attacking lines. KOGL looks to drive forward with the ball, while FLICK works to recycle possession and move the ball wide. They must stay close together to compress the midfield and ensure they do not get bypassed easily.

HOENEB operates as the right striker, able to hold up the ball and lay it off to his partner. These two forwards press the opposition back line to force mistakes.
