Al-Riyadh focuses on a high press and quick transitions using a 3-3-4 formation. This lineup is built to overwhelm the opposition in the final third by flooding the attacking zones. The team aims to win the ball high up the pitch and move forward with massive numbers to catch the opponent out of position.

Emon hossain starts between the posts to organize the defense. The back three consists of Shahin alam, Arif jr, and Sohel ovi. Shahin alam acts as the left centre-back to cover the flank while Sohel ovi holds the right side. Arif jr sits in the middle to act as the central defender, winning headers and managing the space behind the midfield. This defensive unit works as a compact block when they drop back, but they often push high to squeeze the space.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier. Nazmul rahad sits in the center to shield the defence and recycle possession. On either side, Saiful and Rony work to link the defensive and attacking lines. Saiful and Rony are tasked to press aggressively to win the ball high and carry the ball forward into the half-spaces. This trio helps Al-Riyadh maintain control of the middle before they look to release the front four.

The attack is heavy with four players pushing the opposition back line. Riyaz and Himu operate as two forwards in a partnership, acting as pressing centre-forwards to force long balls. On the flanks, Nahid plays as a wide winger who stays near the touchline to stretch the defence, while Arif hossain operates as an inverted winger who looks to cut inside. This creates constant movement, allowing for runs in behind or combinations in the box.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its ability to press high in coordinated waves. By having four attackers, the team can pin the last defender and create numerical superiority in the attacking third. The presence of the three midfielders allows the team to win the second ball quickly, which triggers a fast break once they regain control.

The 3-3-4 lineup is a high risk, high reward system designed to dominate the game through aggression. It is best suited for matches where the opponent plays a high line and can be exploited with speed.
