When Vialli was subbed off Mancini returned to a more advance position and Branca played as a single CF. Lanna was positioned on the left side of the defense as LB. Bonetti then took Invernizzi’s role and Invernizzi was moved into a central position as DMF/CMF alongside Toninho Cerezo.
