Algeria relies on a high press and rapid transition to dominate games using a 4-3-3 formation. The striker 9 acts as a pressing centre-forward to force long balls from the opposition. When the team attacks, 11 and Boulbina can cut inside to allow the full backs to push up, creating combinations in tight spaces to find 9.

Algeria gains a tactical advantage through numerical superiority in the midfield when 10 moves into the half-spaces. The ability to press high in coordinated waves allows the team to win it back high up the pitch and attack quickly. This setup also creates wide overloads when 2 or 3 join the attack to support the wingers.
