Zubimendi links the defense to the attack by playing short from the back and finding the feet of the midfielders. Havertz operates as an attacking ten in the hole, looking to arrive late into the box and exploit the space between the lines.

The attack features three players who work to stretch the defense. Saka stays wide on the right to isolate defenders and is known for his dribbling and ability to whip it in. Ødegaard operates from the left but frequently cuts inside to create chances with his passing range. G.
