This pair must also press in a mid-block to squeeze the space.

Up front, the team uses a lone striker in SANTILLANA who works to hold up the ball. CUNNINGHAM and JUANITO play as wide wingers who hug the touchline to stretch the defence. CUNNINGHAM will cut inside to create chances, while JUANITO provides width on the right. SANTILLANA, CUNNINGHAM, and JUANITO press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. This creates opportunities for the team to break quickly and use the space created by CUNNINGHAM and JUANITO.
