Di Gregorio operates between the posts to command the area. The back line functions as a back five with Hjulmand and Thuram acting as the central defenders to protect the middle. Hjulmand provides aerial strength and physical presence, while Thuram covers the space behind. Balerdi plays as a right wing back to provide width, while Kim acts as the left wing back to support the defense and push up when needed. This defensive unit stays narrow to force play wide and deny central penetration.

The midfield works as a flat four to maintain a narrow defensive block. Sancho and Yildiz occupy the central roles, with Sancho looking to carry the ball forward and Yildiz trying to play through the lines. On the flanks, Tavares and Molina provide the width. Tavares plays as the left midfielder to press aggressively, while Molina occupies the right side to help with transitions. This midfield group works to compress the space and win the second ball to start attacks.

In the attacking phase, Nunez acts as a lone striker to lead the line. He works to hold up the ball and allow the midfielders to join the attack. The team uses the wing backs, Kim and Balerdi, to provide width and allow the midfielders to operate in the half spaces. When Juventus wins the ball, the forwards press the opposition back line to prevent them from building from the back. The movement is designed to create runs in behind and find Nunez in combinations.

One major advantage for Juventus is the compactness when defending in a low block. By keeping the lines close together, they make it hard for opponents to find passing lanes. Another strength is the speed of transition when the wing backs and midfielders move forward together.
