The midfield operates as a three man midfield with a carrier. Paredes plays in the right central midfield role and is tasked to protect the back line and recycle possession. Zenon operates in the left central midfield position to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Velasco plays as an attacking ten behind the strikers to find the feet of the attackers and drive forward with the ball. This midfield unit works to squeeze the space and ensure the team can win the second ball.

Boca uses two forwards in a partnership to lead the line. Merentiel operates as the lone striker who works to pin the last defender and hold up the ball. Braida plays as the second striker to make runs in behind and support the attacking moves. The wing backs, Blondel and Blanco, provide the width by overlapping the wingers to deliver crosses into the box. The attack is built through quick combinations to split the defense with a through ball or by using the pace of the forwards in transition.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its defensive compactness and wide overloads.
