Starting Lineup

Csákvár focuses on a high press and verticality with a 3-3-4 formation. This lineup is built to overwhelm the opposition through heavy numbers in the final third and quick transitions. By pushing so many players forward, the team seeks to win the ball high up the pitch and strike before the defense can organize.

Zelizi acts as the last line of defense in goal. The back line operates as a back three with Unathum occupying the central position. Szalai plays as the right centre back while Murka sits on the left. These defenders must hold a high line to keep the team compact. Szalai and Murka are tasked with covering wide areas when the midfield is bypassed, while Unathum stays central to win headers and clear the lines.

The midfield utilizes a three man midfield with a carrier. Varga and Karacs sit in the middle to protect the defense and recycle possession. Varga works to shield the back three, while Karacs looks to carry the ball forward into the half spaces. Gregor plays as an attacking ten behind the strikers, acting as the link between the midfield and the front four. Gregor must find pockets of space to receive on the half turn and play through the lines to the attackers.

In the attacking phase, Csákvár employs four attackers to stretch the opposition. Székej and Gazdag operate as a pair of center forwards, looking to combine in tight spaces and make runs in behind. Nagy stays wide on the right wing to pull the defense apart, while Dusinszki occupies the left wing. The wingers look to cut inside to create overloads in the middle, allowing the two strikers to attack the near post or far post. This front line is designed to press from the front to force errors.
