ISCHIA and CABAÑAS connect the defense to the forward line by receiving the ball from the center backs and finding the attackers. They are responsible for shielding the defensive line and ensuring the team does not get bypassed through the middle. They must be ready to press in a mid block to force long balls.

América de Cali uses three attackers to lead the press from the front. W. ORTIZ acts as the lone striker, working to hold up the ball and find teammates.
