England uses a two-man strike force to pressure the opposition back line. Zen and Siryu operate as a partnership to combine in tight spaces and make runs in behind. Zen works to hold up the ball to allow others to join the attack. Siryu looks to find the feet of the striker or make quick movements to exploit gaps. The two forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the defenders.

One major advantage for England is the ability to create wide overloads when Formlesspill and Shinra push forward together. The formation also provides great compactness when defending a mid-block.
