This formation offers several tactical advantages during the game. The team can create wide overloads when Ferry or Sevelj overlap the wingers. There is also the ability to press high in coordinated waves to force a long ball from the opponent. This system makes it difficult for teams to play through the middle because Camara and Sibbald occupy those central passing lanes.
