Anthony operates on the right side of the midfield to provide energy, while Sancho occupies the left side to link the defense to the attack. This midfield group works to intercept passes and win the second ball to start quick attacks for Besiktas.

In the attacking phase, the team relies on a lone striker, Abraham, to lead the line. Abraham is tasked to hold up the ball and wait for support from the midfield.
