Starting Lineup

Petrov · Agureev · Yugaldin · Efremov · Saveljev · Davidyan · Cheryshev · Paltsev · Aleksandrov · Konyukhov · Yatimov

Pari NN relies on a high press and vertical movement within a 4-3-3. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and drive forward through the thirds. The team looks to use the width of the pitch to stretch the defence and create chances through quick transitions.

Yatimov stays between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line operates as a flat back four with Aleksandrov and Paltsev as the central defenders. Aleksandrov plays to cover the left side while Paltsev works to win headers and defend the right side of the central zone. Efremov and Konyukhov operate as the wide defenders. Efremov can push forward to support the attack, while Konyukhov stays deeper to prevent crosses. The unit works to hold a compact block and squeeze the space when the opposition tries to play out from the back.

A three man midfield provides the connection between the lines. Petrov acts as the single pivot to shield the defence and drop between the centre backs to receive the ball. Yugaldin and Davidyan play as the two central midfielders to drive the team forward. Yugaldin looks to carry the ball forward into the half spaces, whereas Davidyan works to win the second ball and recycle possession. This midfield group aims to press aggressively to win it back high up the pitch and quickly switch play to the flanks.

The attack features three players across the front to press the opposition back line. Saveljev leads the line as a lone striker to hold up the ball and link play. On the wings, Cheryshev and Agureev provide the main threat. Cheryshev uses his pace to cut inside from the left to find the feet of the striker or shoot, while Agureev stays wide to stretch the defence and deliver crosses. The team attacks in combinations, with the wingers looking to hit in behind on the transition once the midfield wins possession.

This formation offers great speed of transition when moving from defence to attack. The team creates wide overloads through the full backs overlapping the wingers to bypass the midfield. Pari NN also benefits from the ability to press high in coordinated waves to force a long ball from the opponent.

This 4-3-3 formation relies on high intensity and rapid ball movement to unsettle opponents. It is best suited for games against teams that play a high line and can be caught out on the break.
