Jurasek can overlap the winger to provide width, while Coufal stays ready to cover the flank. In the heart of the defense, Krejci and Vitik hold the line. Vitik is dominant in the air, helping the team win headers, while Krejci works to cover the space behind and defend zonally.

The midfield is composed of a double pivot with Sadilek and Soucek. Sadilek works to shield the defense and intercept passes in the middle. Soucek provides a physical presence to win the second ball and can drive forward with the ball to bridge the gap. Together, Sadilek and Soucek connect the defensive unit to the front four by playing short from the back or hitting direct passes.

The attacking unit features four players working in unison. Kusej and Cerny act as wide wingers who look to stretch the defense and cut inside to create chances. In the center, Schick and Sulc form a two-man strike partnership. Schick is a target man who can hold up the ball and bring others into play, while Sulc looks to make runs in behind to exploit the space. The team attacks in combinations and uses the movement of the wingers to isolate defenders one on one.

This formation provides clear tactical advantages. The heavy presence of four attackers allows the team to press high in coordinated waves. Czechia can also create wide overloads when Jurasek and Coufal push up to support the wingers.
