On the flanks, LRioja and DiegoLópez occupy the wide areas to provide service. DiegoLópez helps to track back and protect the left side, while LRioja pushes up to support the attack. This four man line keeps the distance between the defense and the forwards tight to compress the midfield.

Up front, Valencia utilizes two forwards in Danjuma and Raba. Danjuma plays as a left striker, often looking to make runs in behind the defense. Raba operates as the right striker to provide a presence in the box. They often combine in tight spaces to play quick passes and break the line. The attackers press from the front to force the opposition into mistakes. When the team wins the ball, Danjuma and Raba look to hit in behind on the transition.
