Persib aims to control games through a high press and verticality using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and move quickly toward the goal. The team looks to stretch the defence by using wide players to create space for the central attackers.

Adam Przybek starts between the posts to manage the defensive line. The back three consists of Patricio as the left centre-back, Julio Cesar, and Fran Putros on the right. Patricio and Fran Putros act as wide centre-backs to cover the flanks, while Julio Cesar sits centrally to win the header and clear the lines. This unit works to hold a high line and squeeze the space between the defense and midfield.

The midfield operates with a three-man midfield with a carrier to link the lines. Thom Haye plays with a high passing range to distribute the ball from deep, while Luciano and Ferdico Barba work to win the second ball and cover the zones in front of the defenders. Wiliam Marselio plays as an attacking ten behind the striker to find the feet of the striker and play through the lines. This group aims to press in a mid-block to force a long ball from the opposition.

Persib utilizes three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. Ramon Tanque acts as a pressing centre-forward to disrupt the build up play of the opponent. Berguinho plays as an inverted winger on the left to cut inside, while Uiliam Barros stays wide on the right to stretch the defence. The forwards work in combinations to create runs in behind or deliver early balls into the box for Ramon Tanque to attack.

One major advantage of this formation is the ability to press high in coordinated waves. By having Wiliam Marselio and the front three close down the opposition, Persib can win it back high up the pitch. Another strength is the ability to create wide overloads when the wide midfielders push up to support Berguinho and Uiliam Barros.

This 3-4-3 formation focuses on aggressive pressing and quick transitions to catch opponents out of position. It is best suited for games against teams that try to play short from the back and struggle under high pressure.
