Starting Lineup

Fabinho works to shield the defense while M Antonio looks to carry the ball forward and connect the lines. On the flanks, Enzo and Cédric act as wide midfielders who provide the necessary width. Enzo pushes up on the left while Cédric stays wide on the right to stretch the defense and create passing lanes for the central players.

The attacking unit is extremely potent with four players positioned high up the pitch. Beraldo and Arboleda act as the wide attackers, with Beraldo cutting inside from the right and Arboleda operating on the left. In the center, A Franco and Rafael lead the line as a two man partnership. A Franco works to find the feet of the striker and link play, while Rafael looks to run in behind the defense. This front four is designed to press the opposition back line relentlessly and create constant chaos in the box.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its ability to create wide overloads and numerical superiority in the attacking half. By having Enzo, Cédric, Beraldo, and Arboleda all pushing high, São Paulo can pin the opponent in their own half.
