Racing Club looks to control games through high pressing and verticality in a 3-4-3. This formation is built to win the ball high up the pitch and quickly transition into attacking situations. The goal is to stretch the defence and create chaos in the final third by using aggressive movements and quick ball movement.

Arias plays between the posts as the goalkeeper to anchor the back line. The defensive unit sits in a back three where García Basso acts as the left centre-back, providing cover and stability. Pardo operates as the right centre-back, while Sosa sits in the middle to lead the line. These three defenders focus on defending zonally and making sure they stay compact to deny the turn to opposing attackers.

In the middle of the pitch, Racing Club utilizes a three-man midfield combined with a central playmaker to connect the lines. Nardoni acts as the single pivot to shield the defence and win the second ball. Rojas and Martirena play as the wider midfielders, tasked to press aggressively to win the ball high and carry the ball forward into space. Zaracho operates as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find the feet of the attackers or arrive late into the box to score.

The attack features three players across the front to pin the last defender. Martínez serves as the lone striker, acting as a pressing centre-forward to disrupt the opposition build up. Conechny plays as a left winger who wants to cut inside to create chances, while Vietto operates on the right wing. This trio works to create runs in behind and use combinations in tight spaces to break the line.

This formation offers several tactical advantages, such as the ability to press high in coordinated waves to force a long ball from the opponent. The wide midfielders, Rojas and Martirena, provide the ability to create wide overloads when they push up to support the wingers. Additionally, the presence of Zaracho behind Martínez allows for numerical superiority in the half spaces.
