Liverpool aims to dominate through a high press and rapid transitions in this 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win it back high up the pitch and immediately look to hit in behind on the transition. Alex stays between the posts to oversee the defensive unit. A flat back four provides the base for the defense, with Uziel acting as an attacking wing back on the left to provide width. On the right, Marcos/yosgart performs similar duties to overlap the winger. In the center, Eric and Joel/jeremiah act as the main defenders, where Eric can step into midfield to disrupt play while Joel/jeremiah provides cover to sweep behind the high line. This unit works to keep the line high and maintain a compact shape when the ball is on the opposite side.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier and a central anchor. Jose sits in the middle to shield the defense and recycle possession, acting as the primary link between the back four and the forward line. To his left, Black marcos operates as an inverted eight to drive forward with the ball and find space between the lines. Max occupies the right side of the central trio to help connect the play and arrive late into the box. This group works to compress the midfield and deny the turn to opposition playmakers.

The attacking unit relies on three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. Jared acts as a pressing centre-forward, leading the charge to force a long ball from the opposition. On the wings, Isaac/cooper and Edwin/albert act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central overloads. This movement creates space for the full backs to push up and provides Jared with options to play a one-two or receive service in the box. The front three press in pairs to trigger a press and prevent the opposition from playing short from the back.

Liverpool gains a major advantage through their ability to press high in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to build play. The formation also offers wide overloads from overlapping full backs, which pulls the opposing defenders out of position.
