The midfield operates as a double pivot consisting of Moncayola and Torró. These two players must work hard to cover the ground and protect the back five. Moncayola often drives forward with the ball to connect the defense to the attack and arrive late into the box. The wingers are tasked to press the opposition back line to force a long ball and win the second ball. This creates space for Rosier and Bretones to overlap the winger and whip it in towards the far post.
