Poland looks to play a direct and vertical game using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to exploit transitions and use the physical presence of the frontline to pin the opposition defense. The goal is to move the ball quickly through the thirds to catch opponents out of position.

Łukasz Skorupski stays between the posts to start the build up. The back line operates as a back three with Jakub Bednarek acting as the central anchor. Jakub Bednarek stays deep to defend the middle while Jakub Kiwior plays as a left centre back with his ability to cover wide areas. Piotr Wiśniewski operates on the right side of the central trio. This unit must remain compact to defend against through balls.

The midfield functions as a central pairing of two inverted eights. Piotr Zieliński uses his wide passing range to create chances and connect the defense to the attack. Mateusz Kaźmierczak is not here, so Jacek Moder sits in the right central midfield slot to drive the ball forward. The wide players Niel Zalewski and Michał Cash push high to provide width. Niel Zalewski plays as a left midfielder to help the left side of the defense while Michał Cash stays wide on the right to stretch the defense.

Poland uses three attackers to pressure the back line. Robert Lewandowski (C) leads the line as a pressing centre forward, using his strength to hold up the ball. Sebastian Szymański plays on the right wing and looks to cut inside into the half spaces. Karol Kamiński operates on the left wing to provide width. This front three works to find gaps between the defenders and create one on one situations for the wide players.

This formation offers the advantage of wide overloads when Niel Zalewski and Michał Cash push forward to support the wingers. Poland can also achieve numerical superiority in the middle when Piotr Zieliński and Jacek Moder step up into the attacking third. The ability to transition quickly through the central trio and the midfield duo allows for rapid breaks.

This 3-4-3 setup relies on the strength of Robert Lewandowski (C) to lead the attack. It is a formation best suited for games where Poland can exploit space on the counter at pace.
