Starting Lineup

Minamino plays in the advanced role, acting as the link between the midfield and the attack. He is tasked to press aggressively to win the ball high and then find the feet of the forwards or play through the lines to break the opposition's lines.

Monaco uses three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. Ilenikhena operates as a pressing centre forward, using his movement to pin the last defender and create space for others. On the wings, Vanderson and Idumbo play as wide wingers who look to cut inside and create chances in central areas. The attack relies on quick combinations and runs in behind to exploit the space left by the opposition.

This formation offers several tactical advantages for Monaco. The team can create wide overloads when Teze or Caio overlap the wingers to overwhelm the flanks.
