The midfield operates as a three man midfield with a carrier. Max and Marcos work to control the central zone and shield the defence. Max focuses on winning the second ball, while Marcos looks to drive forward with the ball to connect the lines. Trevor plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find pockets of space to create chances. This midfield unit works to compress the space when the team sits deep and tracks back to support the back five.

In the attacking third, Liverpool uses two forwards in a partnership to pressure the opposition back line. Jared plays as a right striker, often looking to run in behind the defenders. Cooper/Evan operates as a left striker, often holding up the ball to allow Trevor or the wing backs to join the play. The wing backs, Marcos.H and Uziel, are vital for providing width, allowing the two strikers to stay central and pin the last defender. The team attacks in combinations, looking for quick one twos to break the lines.
